This work is an impression of a walk through the Shetland hills if plans for a massive 154 turbine windfarm go ahead. The actual positions of the turbines are approximate and based on Viking Energies published site plan and are as accurate as it is possible to get with our limited resources. The sound recordings were taken from an actual windfarm and have been simulated with the wind blowing toward the viewer. I threw the crane truck in for visual appeal, in reality the vehicles needed to shift these monsters will be a good bit bigger! Here we see some 40 turbines.
