Gilad Atzmon and the Orient House Ensemble played to an appreciative audience opened by three short duets by the Shetland Improvisers Orchestra. Atzmon played a selection from his latest album "Songs of the Metroplolis" which took us from Moscow to Paris by way of Tel Aviv and Scarborough a performance peppered with his dryly comic and acerbic commentary on his world view which wins him no friends among the fundamentalists in any culture.
